What is CBG?
CBG is the cannabinoid the plant makes first: the mother of the rest. No high, a rare find, and a favourite sidekick to THC in our cartridges. Here’s the story.
No high
CBG (cannabigerol) doesn’t get you high. In our products it rides alongside THC, which does.
The mother cannabinoid
The plant builds THC, CBD and more from CBG’s acid form. By harvest, only a little is left. That’s what makes it special.
Listed per product
Every product page shows CBG with its own percentage or milligrams. You always know what’s in there.
What CBG is
Every cannabinoid in the plant starts somewhere, and that somewhere is CBGA, cannabigerolic acid. The plant turns it into the acid forms of THC, CBD and others. What’s left becomes CBG.
That’s why a mature plant holds only a small amount, and why CBG is such a nice extra when it shows up next to THC in a cartridge.
In the plant
The starting point of THC, CBD and the rest.
CBG next to THC and CBD
THC
The high. CBG doesn’t change that.
CBD
Also no high, and the best-known of the two. Different compound, different character.
CBG
Rare, no high, and in our range almost always paired with THC. Think of it as the plant’s original.
CBG on our product pages
You’ll spot CBG in three places: in the product name (“90% THC – 3% CBG”), under cannabinoids in the product details, and in the cannabinoid content with its own percentage. A percentage is the share of the product’s weight: 3% CBG in 1 gram is about 30 mg.
Looking for the full list? Use the cannabinoid filter in the shop. And since nearly every CBG product also carries THC, the usual THC rule applies: start low and find your level.
