Payment methods
You choose your payment method at checkout. There are three options. This page explains each of them.
Pay with Cryptocurrency
Pay directly from your own crypto wallet.
Crypto Voucher Payment
Pay with an Azteco Bitcoin Lightning Voucher. No crypto experience needed.
iDEAL, Credit Card, PayPal or Klarna via Crypto
Pay through a crypto payment service.
1. Pay with Cryptocurrency
Select Pay with Cryptocurrency at checkout and choose your currency. You then see the amount in that currency and the payment instructions. Pay from your crypto wallet.
The checkout currently lists:
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Ethereum (ETH)
- Solana (SOL)
- Litecoin (LTC)
- Dogecoin (DOGE)
- XRP
- Tron (TRX)
- Tether (USDT)
- USD Coin (USDC) on Ethereum (ERC-20)
- Binance Coin (BNB) on BNB Smart Chain (BSC)
- Monero (XMR)
Some currencies are offered on more than one network. Always follow the exact currency and network shown on the payment screen, even if it differs from this list.
Complete your payment within two hours of placing the order.
2. Crypto Voucher Payment
With this option you pay using an Azteco Bitcoin Lightning Voucher.
- Select Crypto Voucher Payment at checkout and place your order. Your order is on hold until we have received and verified your payment. You receive the instructions by email.
- Buy an Azteco voucher via the official page azte.co/buy. Select your country and choose one of the online retailers.
- Choose Lightning. Do not buy an On-Chain voucher or another type of crypto or gift voucher.
- Buy one or more vouchers with a combined value of at least your order total. The retailer may charge additional fees or commission.
- Reply to your order confirmation email with your order number and all voucher codes in plain text. If the retailer only provides a QR code, send a clear image of the QR code instead.
Once we have verified and redeemed your voucher(s), your order changes to Processing and you receive another email.
Important for vouchers
- Do not redeem the voucher yourself; it must be unused when we receive it.
- Only Azteco Bitcoin Lightning Vouchers are accepted with this payment method.
- Any excess voucher value cannot be refunded.
3. iDEAL, Credit Card, PayPal or Klarna via Crypto
With this option you pay through a crypto payment service. The available payment methods and next steps can differ per country and chosen payment method. Follow the instructions on the payment screen. There you can see which options are available to you.
