What is CBN?
CBN is what THC turns into with time, light and air. Only mildly active, with a character of its own, and a sidekick in a growing number of our cartridges. Here’s what you should know.
Born from THC
CBN (cannabinol) forms when THC breaks down over time. Older cannabis has more of it.
Barely a high
On its own, CBN is only mildly psychoactive, far gentler than THC. In our products it sits next to THC, which brings the high.
Listed per product
Every product page shows CBN with its own percentage or milligrams. No guesswork.
What CBN is
The plant hardly makes any CBN itself. It appears when THC is exposed to time, light, air and heat: THC slowly oxidises into CBN. That’s why aged cannabis tests higher in CBN and lower in THC.
In an extract that process is under control. The CBN you see on a product page is a measured ingredient, not a sign of age.
With time, light and air
Slowly, and far gentler than where it came from.
CBN next to THC and CBD
THC
The high. CBN is its mellow descendant.
CBD
No high at all, and not related to THC the way CBN is.
CBN
Only mildly active, with a reputation as the evening cannabinoid. Whether that’s the CBN or the whole blend is still an open question, so we let you decide for yourself.
CBN on our product pages
You’ll find CBN in the product name (“88% THC – 4% CBN”), under cannabinoids in the product details and in the cannabinoid content with its own percentage. A percentage is the share of the product’s weight: 4% CBN in 1 gram is about 40 mg.
Use the cannabinoid filter in the shop to see every product with CBN. Nearly all of them also carry THC, so the THC rule applies: start low and find your level.
